• All students are required to complete an Application & Payment Form, and Enrollment & Release Agreement. Students are responsible for bringing a model to all Private Hands-On sessions. Students will model for each other in Group Hands-On sessions. Minimum age for students and models is 16 years. Makeup Theory is a prerequisite for all hands-on sessions.

 

• Sessions must be scheduled and paid for a minimum of 7 days ahead of time. Sessions are a minimum of 2 hours; overtime will be calculated by the half hour and must be paid at the end of each session. Discounted multiple sessions must be paid for at time of booking; some coupons may not be applied to already discounted multiple sessions.

 

• There is a Cancellation Policy of no less than 24 hours to allow that space to be filled by another student. Cancellations by students less than 24 hours will incur a $25 fee deducted from their payment; the balance may be applied to another session within 30 days. There are no refunds, only credit towards a future session.

 

• Makeup Starter Kit items must be ordered 4-6 weeks ahead to allow for delivery time; kit brands and items may vary with availability. For consistency in training, certain items are essential. Due to sanitation reasons, kit items are non-returnable, non-refundable. California sales tax is added to all kit sales. Kits are distributed at first hands-on session, or other shipping, handling, and insurance fees may apply.

 

• Cancellations by Makeup Basix at any time will not result in a fee to the student; the balance may be applied to another session with an additional 15 minutes added to that session, or a 10% discount for use towards a future session.

 

• Students not honoring Makeup Basix enrollment policies will be terminated as clients.

 

• Payment may be made by credit card through Paypal, cashier’s check*, money order*, personal check*, or cash.

• Due to the intimate nature of applying makeup, Makeup Basix will have strict Covid-19 protocols, including vaccines, testing, distancing, PPE and other measure that students and models must follow.

 

*Enrollment held till payment clears; NSF checks incur a $25 fee.
